My Dream House

Speaking of starting the year right, being productive is one on my list. I got-up by 9am, turned on my laptop and started to surf the net - dropped by at the twitter world for a while. Well, I have been looking a lot online and I'm much preoccupied looking for the interior designs for the house - pieces of vintage furniture. You know, I'm inspired by Uncle Noel's house in Dallas and I started to build my dream house online *LOL* at least when the right time comes I'm ready and I know what I want ;) So what's my dream house? A simple medium size house with 4 bedrooms, dining area, kitchen, living room, backyard and a vintage bathroom! The look will be mix by contemporary and vintage style - similar to a Spa or like the houses at Sonia's Garden, Tagaytay. I'm fascinated with the houses there and the Spa around the City. Well, for obvious reasons, it's nice and very relaxing.

Alright, let me give you a glimpse of my dream house. Let start with the living room, I want the couch to have simple and very nice cushions like these

while the tables and cabinets are all dark wood. And these wooden screens and wooden mirrors will complete the look :) What do you think?

I like the pastel colors painted in the living area - color cream or this blue (like the color of the wall at the 2nd photo). And there's only a few displays like lamp, picture frame and scented candle. The photos that hanging on the walls are all black and white.

Oh well, this plan may change but at least I started :) I'm praying that we can have our dream house in three to five years from now. We just have to have a stable job, sticked with our goal and most of all to tighten our belts. I know it sounds ideal but we're serious about it and we'll definitely do it :) Wish us luck!
