Roller Coaster :)

Posted by Faye |

We went to MOA last weekend and saw this roller coaster inside the Mall. The kids were having fun! Most of them were brave enough to try this ride! They were shouting and waving their hands while they are up side down *lol* I still remember when I was still a child, I'm a big fan of rides too. My bestfriend Manang and I never fails to attend their school fair day. We enjoyed every single ride and even rode the Octopus ride, it was her first and last ride then *lol* Honestly, I want to try these rides too :)

Friends

Posted by Faye |

Well, I haven't seen our friends for a month now. The last time I saw them was our Wisconsin Dells trip. August has been a busy month for me and for my husband. We're supposed to meet them last week but since we have a guest and we have to tour her around the City. Yes, I miss them! :D I miss cranium and non-stop chatting. And the two first mom-to-be is getting ready to have their first baby to be born. I'm excited too :) Our friends are really fun to be with :) My husband and I are very lucky to have them, they are just not only friends but a family :)
I will surely see them next week. You will know why... Also, our September weekend is fully booked for Jaden's baptism (I've chosen to be one of his godmother :), Raya's 1st birthday and Hany's birthday party :D we're having usual and fun weekend again :) I can't wait to see them!:)
Happy weekend!

Inspiration

Posted by Faye |

I've told you in my previous post that I came from a broken family. I didn't experience to live with my parents in one same roof. I didn't experience to be a part of a "family". And yes as same as what you have seen in a teleserye, my childhood life was really dramatic. My own relatives was not been good to be, could you believe it my own aunt and my uncle? Yes they are, the sad part is they are my father's siblings... I heard so many harsh words from them. They tried to make my life miserable and they always tried to put me down... My grandma said they were just jealous the way she and my Auntie Marissa love me... But I can't I understand why... So I grew up having this in my mind...
In spite of all the obstacles in my life I managed to have a good life :) Away from all the troubles like drugs and bad influence friends. Thanks to my Auntie Marissa and specially to my grandmother who raced me up and love me unconditionally *hugs* And also thanks to Coach Babes! You helped to mold me as a person and helped to give out the best in me! You and the rest of the team definitely leaved a mark in my life!

Fabella Hospital | Baby Factory

Posted by Faye |

My online friend Aggie shared this post about the heart breaking condition of Moms and newly born babies at Fabella Hospital from chuvaness’ blog.

Photos from Chuvaness.com
Look at them, two moms and 2 babies are sharing for one bed.....

The Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital started as a six-bed capacity clinic called the "Maternity House" on November 9, 1920. This clinic, which was founded by then Chairman of Public Welfare Board, Dr. Jose Fabella, was originally located at Sampaloc, Manila. In 1922, the clinic added a pediatric section and a school of midwifery. In 1931, the control of the clinic was shifted to the Bureau of Health and again to the Bureau of Hospitals in 1947. It was in 1951 when the clinic was transferred to its present location in Santa Cruz, Manila. Unlike other Philippine government hospitals, there were no legislative act that permitted the creation of the hospital. Its present location was only legitimized by Administrative Order no. 140 ,which was issued by President Manuel L. Quezon on February 19, 1941. The Administrative Order recommended that the Bilibid Hospital will be used as a maternity hospital. On June 15, 1968 when the Maternity and Children's Hospital was renamed as Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in honor of the hospital's founder. To date, it has an authorized bed capacity of 700. One of the donor even have her Hermes bag auction and the proceeds will go to Fabella fund. I salute you! and I believe the blessing will come back to you :) If you want to share your blessing and would like to help, you may visit chuvaness.com
They needed the following:

- droplights
- digital weighing scale

We're blessed for so many ways :) so let's start to count our blessing and share it back to others. There's good karma waiting for those people who do good things ;)

Before the Wedding

Posted by Faye |

Our day started in St. Louis on thursday. Met my SIL's parents-in-law,had lunch then went straight to Anheuser-Busch. This time we had a chance to tour inside the factory. It was free and you could drink two glasses of beer for free as well!
Then we had dinner together afterwards. It was really productive day indeed! Had lunch and dinner with the family, picked-up the wedding gown and went to Ameristar hotel :) You wont believe me, we ate steak for three consecutive dinner! yayks! So I'm not surprised when saw the weighing scale and saw how much did I gained weight! yayks! My husband and I enjoyed our stay in St. Louis and I admit that I didn't follow my diet as a matter of fact I enjoyed every food that I ate!:)
