Last night, I was watching the old episode of "Sex and The City", the four girls - Carie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda were having their usual catching up dinner when suddenly I miss my friends back home :'( I miss having dinner and catching up with them... I miss watching movies and having coffee with the girls... And I just wish they just a few miles a way so I can go out with them anytime I want... but we're thousand miles away :'( Going out with my friends was in my system until I moved here. My life totally turned around 360 degrees. My bestfriend was really surprised when she knew that I'm staying at home - she was not used to it. Well, priorities changed most especially when I got married - but I'm loving it.
Thank God we have nice and true friends here. At least missing my friends back home will be lessen each day, most especially now that we have friends living in the same City. We could hang out more often :) Anyway, just sharing some photos with my girlfriends :) Special thanks to my shopping buddy Ila for the delicious dinner :)

Tomorrow, I have to get up early. I need to finish the household chores early so I could have a lot of time on job hunting. Wish me luck!:) Ta!

This precious little girl gave us the opportunity to be her parents even for a couple of days. Thanks to our friends for choosing us to be her babysitter. The happiness that we felt was priceless!
For the first time, I saw my husband very happy while playing with a baby :) He even went to the office late just to play her. Iba talaga nagagawa ng baby :) And we believe our very own baby is coming soon!

I'm looking for a unique wedding cake toppers online for a friend when I noticed that a week's time from now, it will be my birthday month. The year of the Tiger -2010 have been so kind and generous to us. My friend Ila and her husband picked me up yesterday, It was a shopping day for the ladies!!!:) weeeeeee!! It feels like heaven!:) This time, I got two stuffs for myself and the rest were kalakal :) The prices was really irresistible and was really a steal! I got home with 4 paper bags!:)

My husband and I found an affordable and authentic Thai restaurant near our place. We started to love this restaurant a few months ago and we eat there almost every week!:) Our love for Vietnamese food fade away and we fell in love with this irresistible Thai Food :) We told our friends to try it and they love it too!:) My friend Ila tried to cooked a yummy Sticky rice with Mango and I thought to try it at home as well :) I found a very reliable authentic Thai food recipe online :) I just have to adjust the recipe according to my taste :)
Here's the Recipe :)

Ingredients

* 1 1/2 cups uncooked sticky rice
* 2 cups water
* 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 pinch of salet
* 1/2 cup coconut milk
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 2 pinch of salt


Directions

1. Combine the rice and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat to low. mix it once in a while. Simmer until water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.
2. While the rice cooks, mix together 1 1/2 cups coconut milk, 1 cup sugar, and 2 pinch of salt in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil about 2 minutes remove from heat and set aside. Stir the cooked rice into the coconut milk mixture; cover. Allow to cook for 50 minutes, mix it once in a while. Taste it to check if the rice is already cooked.
3. Make a sauce by mixing together 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1 tablespoon sugar and 2 pinch of salt, to a boil.
4. Place the sticky rice on a serving dish. Arrange the mangos on top of the rice. Pour the sauce over the Mangos and rice, then it's ready to serve :)

Hello! I got new goodies again :) Here are the photos :)

Before I look for an affordable Magenta 108R00724 toner for my friend's colored xerox machine, let me share this recipe with you :) I got it from a friend who loves to cook and a great cook as well :)

Ingredients:

2 tbsp butter or you may use corn oil
1 clove of garlic, chopped
1 pc onion, chopped
1 kilo chicken breast fillet
1 pc potato, peeled and cubed
1 cup chicken stock
1 pc carrot, peeled and cubed
2 to 3 pcs chorizo bilbao, sliced
1 140-gm can vienna sausage, cut crosswise into 4 or you may use smoke franks sausage
1/4 cup green peas
1 150-gm can button mushrooms, halved
1 can of Campbell's cream of mushroom
1 200-gm can all purpose cream
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup of water


Procedure:

In a skillet, melt margarine (or you may use vegetable oil) saute garlic and onion, after 3 minutes. Add the chicken and potato.Mix well, let it simmer for 10 minutes. Add the chorizo, sausage, green peas ,carrot, mushrooms. Mix well. Put the cream of mushroom and stock let it simmer until the chicken and vegetables are cooked. Put all purpose cream then season it with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 3 minutes and it is ready to serve :)

***You can also transfer this into a baking dish and top with slices of bread and grated cheese. Bake until cheese melts and bread is slightly toasted.

Last night, I did my usual rounds on my friend's blogs. I was surprised to learned that my BIL's wife is 6 weeks pregnant! Yes she's pregnant! They are also trying for more than a year now :) I could imagine the happiness of this couple felt when they learned the good news.
My BIL didn't inform us yet so my husband was also surprised when I told him about it last night, he's very happy for the great news. Well, two babies are on their way,my SIL who is 5 months pregnant and Jean who is 6 weeks pregnant :) I know most of you are curious on how does I feel when I learned the news. Honestly, I feel a little envy because we've been trying for 2 years now. But I always look at the bigger picture, with all the blessing that we are receiving, I don't think I have be envy :) Who knows, I might announce the good news next month ;) We're praying!:)
Got to go I need to check this testosterone booster for my brother, he's very curious about this :)

Some of my friends are getting ready for Christmas - yes, as early as now. They are started to buy gifts for their love ones. Most of them grabbed the opportunity of semi annual sale of designer stores from left and right. Of course I grabbed the opportunity too! I got nice deals and irresistible and eye candy purses! My loots are all for my friends', I'm their personal shopper and I love to shop for them :) That's a pretty cool job! Isn't it?:) I'm not getting tired to look for great deals and check every shops in the outlet. Walking almost 6 hours in different stores doesn't bother me. It's a good exercise and an effective fat burner as well :) Anyway, here are some extra purses from the loots :)

We don't have any plans for the weekend yet. All I want is just to stay at home, cook for my husband, watch a movie with him and go biking :) I want a very relaxing weekend in the comfort of our own home :) I want a stress free weekend for my husband since he's been very stressed at work. That's it for now, I'm off to my computer to check this online degree courses that I saw earlier. I've heard so many things about taking up online degree courses. I'm thinking to go back to school and take up an IT related course :) What do you think?:)

I've been busy these past few days. My to do list has filled up! There are too many things to be accomplished within the week. I need to update my resume, look for a job, do the household chores, update my blog and a lot more. Looking for a job is really stressful! And because of this stress, I'm irritated and loose my patience easily. Also, some pimples are showing up! I tried to use some natural home remedy but I can't stop it, my back has acne scars :( My friend suggested that I should go to a dermatologist and ask for a back acne scar treatment. I don't know how much it will cost me but I'm willing to spend and save my skin from ugly acne scars.

I can’t believe it is already Thursday today! Days flew so fast and I haven't notice that I didn't post this photo until today :) How's you 4th of July? Ours was relaxing :) We celebrated the 4th of July at Treasure Island :) Just me and my husband. We went there to have a sort of out of town trip, it's like 1.5 hours drive from our place. We played bowling, swimming, black jack, watched the fireworks display and my dear husband played poker :) Well, he didn't win though hahaha but we enjoyed our stay their. We stayed there for 2 days and we were refresh! I'm looking for a Spa but the price didn't fit in our budget, It's expensive! hahaha :) We'll just buy a chair massager at Costco instead ;) For less than $100 we could have a message in the comfort of our own house -anytime ;)
After we attended the mass we went straight to our friend's house for barbecue party :) The party was fun and the food were great! The kids were running around. They are grew so fast! I had so much fun playing with them :)

See I gained weight! I can't stop it! :( My tummy is getting bigger and bigger :( I want the natural way, proper diet and exercise - biking or yoga would be nice. I don't want to take apidexin just to loose weight. Promise, on Monday I will do something about it. Let's see :) That's it for now :)

Gardening in my own house :)

I'm inspired with my friend's house, she has a lot of plants inside their home. And it feels so homey and relaxing :) Remember the mini garden from my previous post? It's hers :) These plants gives me happiness :) I don't know why, but I love taking care of them :)
My husband and I went to Ikea to check the semi annual sale and to buy pots and plants two weeks ago, then we go back again there last weekend to buy more :) The pots and plants there were cheaper compared from Lowes and Home depot. Also they have this rectangular mirror that was on sale, from $149.00 to $49.00 it's a steal right?:) But when we're about to pay for it the barcode scanner didn't work! Too bad! I really like that mirror! We've asked for Ikea stuff's help but she can't fix it. So we've just decided not to buy it anymore because we were in a hurry because need to go to catch up for the mass. We got home with 6 pots, 6 plants and a decorative tree branches :) I'm happy with my loots!:)

Before I do my research about industrial supplies I think I have to post these photos :) Gucci outlet has a couple of new markdown bags :) The styles are very nice. Which one do you like? I love the first and last bag :) They are nice, aren't they?:)
