I was wondering if there are some silver bars buried inside the Pantheon hahaha :)) I was amazed how the people government preserve the Museums and Arts in this country. We only stayed in Rome for 4 days I wish we had 3 more days to spend in this beautiful City. The only thing that I don't like about this country was the Italians and the City were dirty. Some of them were rude and there were some that were nice too. I just hope that the government will keep the country clean and the Italian should be nice too so they could invite more tourist.

Headbands

Before I checkeed this Honeywell Barcode Scanner for my cousin's business, let me share my new hobby to you :) I'm making headbands.

I just sewed it by hand, so I was thinking to buy a sewing machine. I can sew more things aside from headbands like pillow case and curtains. Some of the headbands are my props for the photo shoot and I'm also considering of selling it to my friends :) What do you think?

Wallet

I bought my Aunt a small presents last weekend. I found a nice wallet online that has credit card rfid blocking sleeves. She's been asking me to look for this kind of wallet since last year and finally I found one :) Identity theft here in the US is widespread so we have to be very careful. My Aunt is not that techie so she asked me to buy more for her friends :)

Home Projects for 2012

We have a lot of home projects this year. The top on our list are back splash for the kitchen, a new bed, master's bathroom and hard woord floor polisher. But since we need a good sleep we prioritized buying of a new bed. Based in my research, stress can also get from not having a good sleep it will also affect your mood and memory as well. So my husband and I decided to bought a new bed because there were times that we woke-up having back pain. Our budget for the back splash and for the hardwood floor polisher has eaten up by the bed so I was thinking to get a quick step laminate instead.

I Love Weekends : Gathering

My friend's daughter turned 1 yesterday :) And after two months of not seing each other, finally we had a small gathering last weekend :)

Our very first photo together for this month. I'm not really in the mood to take photos these past few months, I don't know why.

I'm just wearing a very light make-up :) I bought a couple liquid foundations in the drugs store. Originally, I just planned to buy an eyeliner but since this brand has some good deals I bought some liquid foundations too. I was hoping that the posguys barcode scanner will not work so I have a reason not to buy it (Reason not accepted hahaha) Anyway, I love my new foundations. Thanks to my bebots friends for the recommendations.

Into Make-up again

I'm starting to hook into make-ups again :) Just last week I got these 3 Mac lipstick. Make-up is like a diamond necklace, It will make you glow :)

I got Captive, Russian Red and Viva Glam V

I'm supposed to return it because my husband did not like it. He is not used to see me wearing red lipstick so I though why not give it a try :) I'm always wearing light shades and it's my first time to wear red and dark ones. I'm telling you this addiction is dangerous in the pocket! It's really addicting! Most especially if you got the shades that fits you :) How about you, what is your latest addiction?:)

Happy 5th Year Anniversary Hani!

It was our 5th Civil Wedding Anniversary last month and when we got home from a dinner at our friend's house, these were waiting for me - a bouquet of roses :) My husband always surprises me :) These was my gift on our anniversary and I don't might. I told my husband that I want to learn to be happy in simple things and also because we over spent last year .

After a month we got married at our favorite place, Sonia's Garden in Tagaytay

Very important persons in our lives were invited and we're glad they all came.

My best pals from elementary till college were also there :)

My friends were surprised when I told them that I'm engaged and getting married the following month. They thought I was pregnant ( I wish so we are not having a hard time to be pregnant :)) Even my parents in-law were surprised too. The truth was my husband doesn't want to go to the United Stated unless were married. Also, the Fung Shui master said that we must get married on that date (for our luckiest date) or else we have to wait for another 8 month which my husband did not agree :)

Alright, that's it for now I have to check the reviews about oreck vacuum. We need to buy a new one because ours are not functioning properly.

Boots

My niece called me earlier. She was very excited and happy to tell me that she wore his riding boots in Tagaytay. They had a field trip last weekend and she was very excited to wear it. I sent those booths 3 months ago, and she keeps on telling me that she really love it. She said she feels like a model when she wore it hahaha kids nowadays they are exposed to fashion. They know what are the current trends and what to wear in a certain event. Guess what? She's been asking me to buy her a tall boots. Is she kidding me? She's going to wear a tall boots in the Philippines? Oh well, I want to be the best Aunt anyway so I will buy her :) I'm such a spoiler!:))

Business

A friend of mine is into business and she's looking for a small business equipment leasing. Since she and her husband is into Web. She wants to have a web design and web programming business. It's not easy to put-up a business nowadays unless you are physically and mentally ready. I told her to make a feasibility study on the location first. In my own opinion, since she's just starting and she don't need to have an office outside her home. What she needs a good marketing tools like a website. Because in this type of business, most of the clients are searching online.

My Firs Prada :)

I really wanted to buy at least one Prada purse, I've been waiting for a good deals for years. And just recently, I bought this red Prada bag. It's on sale but too bad it's not as affordable as the bags the past years :( I have noticed that all of the signature purses increased their prices. Anyway, I saw this Taupe Prada bag that also on sale and I bought it :)) Oopps, I will not keep these two bags, just one. Which one is nicer, the red or the taupe one?:) I love to hear your thoughts :)

First Project of The Year

I covered an event last weekend. I haven't holding my cam for more than a month so I need practice some shots before the event. It's the first my first project this year and I hope I have a lucky buena mano :) I took tons of photos but I had a hard time on the lights. The priest did not want me to use my external flash, can you imagine my dilemma? Indoor shoot with out an external flash? I'm thankful I had a couple of nice shots.

Then while we were having dinner I run out of battery. I was glad I had the best battery charger on board :) Which it only took me half an hour to charge the batteries. Also, I've been convincing my husband that I need a new extra body because my D400 is not performing well. The photos were too dark :( But of course my husband did not agree, he wants me to earn first before buying some stuff.

Online Shopping

My goal since last year is to organized and online shopping makes may life easier :) I'm looking for house numbers plaques when I these nice Shoe Rack and Adjustable Garment Rack online. We badly needed these to organized our stuff. We can't use our Coat Cabinet because it is in the basement and it's so cold there, our jacket will be cold too when we put it there. So when I saw this I was itching to click the buy button hahaha But I didn't because I have to ask my husband's permission first before purchasing anything (just the things for the house LOL )

Then this Shoe Rack is perfect for our needs :) It can store 50 pairs of shoes.

Missing Her

It's nice to be reconnected with our old friends. And with the help of the technology we can keep in touch with them :) I'm glad there's an internet video conferencing we can chat with them while seing them. I badly missing them.

My best fried and I has been friends for 27 years now :) I'm thankful that we keep the friendship. I think because we are very true and loyal to each other :) We shared a lot good memories and experiences. We grew up together, travelled together and sometimes we fight too. Would you believe that we are completely opposite? She's shy, girly and patient while I am boyish, impatient and sporty. Although, we had a lot of differences and some misunderstandings, we know that what ever happens we will still be friends :) And even though we are living in different parts of the world, we always make sure that we have time to each other.

I hope to see her and be with her next year :)

Long Drive

My good friend, A, loves driving. He can drive for 10 hours long drive and never complaints. Just recently he drove from Manila -Aparri - Panggasinan and I'm telling you that's really a long drive. We drove this route in 2006 and I told to myself that I will never do that again, ever LOL Our butt was aching and I was bored during the trip. Anyway, A had a minor problem during this trip. The battery of his car died in the middle of the trip. Good thing he is affiliated in roadside assistance club. He got a help immediately :) That's the good thing about roadside assistance they respond immediately and they have partners nationwide.

Pieta

Before I look for model kits online let me share to you my most favorite among Michelangelo's masterpiece, Pieta.

This is stored inside St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. I was really amazed when I saw it and I was staring of it for like 10 minutes. I'm really wondering how Michelangelo curved this out of white marble. The statue looks real and I can see the sadness on Mama Mary's face. The veins, bones and flesh of Jesus Christ looks real too. It's very beautiful. A masterpiece indeed!

Plants

Yesterday, I went to Lowe's and looked for the best composter. My friend asked me to help her look for it. She wants to start gardening on Spring. We are just half mile away from this store and besides this is one of my favorite stores too. I wish we have a backyard so I can have my own garden and I will plant a lot of trees and flowers. Yes, I love plants. Taking care of it relaxes me :) I talk to them - funny but it's true. Oh and I have tons of house plants in my home :) And whenever my plants dies, It saddens me. How about you do you love plants?

Vacation

I've been in search of Disney vacation packages, although we are in travel band this year I'm still looking for an affordable deals. . . just in case :) At least we are ready when the day comes hahaha My friends and relatives know that I love to travel. Visiting different places and countries excites me. And if given a chance, maybe if I win the lottery - I will be travelling around the world. I will bring my grandma and my love ones to the nicest place in Earth. The top three places in my list are Greece, Bora Bora and Amanpulo :) Oh yeah, I love the Beach!:)

Wednesday Happy Thoughts

Happiness is...
1. Eating heathy food. We have carrots/celery/ apple juice every morning :)

2. Cooking for my love ones. I love to cook lately and I'm cooking healthy food like veggies, fish and chicken - all organic ;)

3. Chatting with friends. For the past 3 weeks, I'm chatting to my bestfriend almost everyday :) I'm missing her so much!

4. I cooked a delicious Roast Chicken last night and my husband loved it!

5. I found affordable motorcycle helmets online for my Uncles

6. Excited on our vacation in the Philippines next year. I'm missing my grandma so much and I can't wait to see her.

7. I got a new purse! :)

8. Watching Eat Bulaga with Husband, our stress realiver every night :)

9. New batch of kalakal has been sold, thank God!
